What is a 28-day billing cycle?
A 28-day billing cycle is exactly 4 weeks, not a calendar month. A unit delivered on Tuesday, November 3 has its first cycle run through Monday, November 30. The next cycle starts December 1. A full year on site is about 13 cycles, and the first one includes the one-time delivery.
| Cycle | Dates | What is billed | Service visits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Nov 3 to Nov 30 | 28-day rate plus one-time delivery | 4 weekly visits |
| 2 | Dec 1 to Dec 28 | 28-day rate | 4 weekly visits |
| 3 | Dec 29 to Jan 25, 2027 | 28-day rate | 4 weekly visits |
| 4 | Jan 26 to Feb 22, 2027 | 28-day rate | 4 weekly visits |
Say you call for pickup on January 5. Cycle 3 is already paid and is not refunded in part, but cycle 4 is never billed. That is why the first bill is larger and later bills are the same. Rates are on the pricing guide.
Does a monthly porta potty rental renew on its own?
A monthly porta potty rental renews every 28 days on its own until you call or text for pickup. You never rebook. Each cycle is charged to the card on file, or invoiced for contractors with an approved account. Projects of 3, 6 or 12 months run the same way.
If your project has a firm end date, tell us when you book and we will note it. You still make the pickup request, so a delay in your schedule never leaves you without a toilet.
What happens at the weekly service visit?
The weekly service visit includes 5 steps: pump the waste tank, wash down the inside, add deodorizer, restock toilet paper and sanitizer, and refill water on sink units. Service days follow our route, about every 7 days. Extra visits can be added for heavy use or summer heat.
- No one needs to be there. Leave the gate code or lock key with us.
- Keep the unit where the service truck can get close.
- Text us if something is damaged or the unit is filling faster than a week.

How do I end a long-term rental?
A long-term rental ends with one call or text to (843) 268-6817 asking for pickup. Billing stops on the day of that request, and we pick up within 2 business days. There is no partial refund for the cycle you are in, so calling near the end of a cycle gets the most use.
Leave the path to the unit clear and the gate open on pickup day. Full rules are in our rental terms.
Which jobs fit a 3, 6 or 12 month rental?
Long-term rentals fit any place that needs a toilet for 4 weeks or more. Home builds often run 6 to 12 months. A lake house waiting on its septic system may need 2 to 4 months. Land with no structure, like a hunting tract or a farm plot, can keep a unit all year.
| Job | Typical length | Usual unit |
|---|---|---|
| New home build | 6 to 12 months | Standard |
| Lake house before septic | 2 to 4 months | Deluxe with sink |
| Land with no structure | Year-round | Standard |
| Church or school addition | 3 to 6 months | Standard plus accessible |
Builders should also read our construction site toilet page. Use that runs only part of the year is on the seasonal rental page.

Monthly rental questions
Why is my first monthly bill higher than the next one?
The first cycle includes the one-time delivery charge. A standard unit starts at $165 per 28-day cycle plus $60 delivery, so the first bill starts at $225 and later cycles at $165. Tax is extra.
If you deliver on a Tuesday, is the unit cleaned every Tuesday?
The service day is set by our route, not the delivery day. Your unit is serviced about every 7 days on the route day for your area, which may be a different weekday than delivery.
Is it cheaper to have the unit cleaned every other week?
Weekly service is built into every long-term rate, so skipping visits does not lower the price. A unit left 2 weeks can pass its 200-use rating and smell badly, especially in summer heat.
How much is a monthly deluxe unit with a sink?
A deluxe unit with a sink starts at $235 per 28-day cycle, and a deluxe flushing unit at $295, each plus a one-time $60 delivery. Weekly service, including the water refill, is included.
Can I keep a porta potty for a full year?
A unit can stay as long as you need it. A 12-month rental is about 13 cycles of 28 days, renewing on its own the whole time, with weekly service every week.
Can a porta potty stay at my lake lot until the septic goes in?
A unit can sit on a lake lot for as many cycles as the septic work takes. Set it on firm ground away from the planned drain field and any well head, with a path the service truck can reach.
