What is inside a restroom trailer?
Each stall in our restroom trailers has a flushing toilet, a sink, a mirror and lighting. The trailer has AC and heat, so guests stay cool in a Florence July and warm at a December party. Trailers come in 2, 3 or 4 stalls, with steps up to each door.
Guests get a real bathroom feel: a closing door, a vanity and a light switch. It is the closest thing to indoor plumbing you can bring to a field or a backyard.
Smaller event with no power? A single-room VIP restroom cabin needs no hookups.

How many guests can a 2, 3 or 4-stall trailer handle?
Count each restroom trailer stall as roughly 1 standard porta potty. For an event up to 4 hours, that means about 50 guests per stall: a 2-stall trailer for about 100 guests, a 3-stall for 150 and a 4-stall for 200. Longer events and an open bar need more stalls.
| Event | Units needed | Trailer setup |
|---|---|---|
| 100 guests, up to 4 hours, no bar | 2 | 2-stall trailer |
| 100 guests, 5 hours, bar | 4 | 4-stall trailer |
| 150 guests, up to 4 hours, no bar | 3 | 3-stall trailer |
| 150 guests, 5 hours, bar | 5 | 4-stall trailer + 1 wheelchair-accessible unit |
| 200 guests, 6 hours, bar | 8 | 4-stall trailer + 3 standard units + 1 accessible unit |
Public events also need at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit, since trailer stalls sit up a set of steps. Run your numbers in the guest count calculator.
What power and water does a restroom trailer need?
A restroom trailer needs a standard 110V outlet within 100 feet, ideally on a dedicated 20-amp circuit, and a garden-hose water connection. With no outlet or spigot on site, add our generator and a fresh water tank. The trailer also needs level ground and about 30 feet of straight tow access.

Can the truck get the trailer to my spot?
A restroom trailer arrives behind a tow vehicle, so the path needs about 30 feet of straight approach and firm ground the whole way. Narrow gates, tight turns, low branches and soggy lawns are the usual problems. A trailer cannot be rolled in on a dolly like a standard unit.
- Walk the route from the road to the spot and look up for branches and wires.
- After heavy rain, pick a gravel or paved spot over a soft lawn.
- Keep the spot within 100 feet of your outlet and in reach of a hose.
- Send us a photo of the spot if you are unsure.

Is a restroom trailer worth it for a wedding?
A restroom trailer suits weddings with 75 or more guests, dressy clothes, or a long reception with a bar. Guests in gowns and suits get a lit stall, a sink and a mirror, and AC in summer. For a small wedding with no power on site, a VIP cabin or deluxe units can work instead.
Put the trailer close to the reception but off the photo lines, with string lights along the path after dark. Set a few standard units near the band and caterers so staff do not crowd guest stalls.
See full wedding setups on our wedding restroom page. Sponsor tents at festivals use trailers as VIP areas too.

How far ahead should I book a restroom trailer?
Book a restroom trailer as soon as your date and venue are set. Trailers are fewer than standard units, and Saturdays in wedding season and graduation weekends go first. Event trailers drop Friday and pick up Monday at no extra cost. Cancel 48 or more hours before delivery for a full refund.
Once booked, we confirm the outlet, water source and tow path a week out. Read the full rental terms for weather and cancellation rules.

Restroom trailer rental questions
How much is a 2-stall vs 3-stall vs 4-stall restroom trailer?
Weekend prices start at $1,150 for a 2-stall, $1,550 for a 3-stall and $1,950 for a 4-stall trailer, with delivery and pickup in the Florence area. Tax is extra. Longer rentals are quoted by phone.
Do you bring a generator if there's no power at the venue?
A generator add-on starts at $175 per day. Tell us on the call if there is no outlet within 100 feet, and we will include it on the quote.
We have no water hookup. Is there a self-contained option?
Our water tank add-on starts at $150 and replaces the garden-hose connection. For a fully self-contained choice with no tank or generator, look at the VIP flushing cabin.
Does the restroom trailer have air conditioning?
Every trailer has AC and heat. It runs on the trailer's power connection, so the outlet or generator needs to stay on for the whole event.
Is the restroom trailer wheelchair-accessible?
Our trailers have steps up to each stall, so plan a separate wheelchair-accessible unit, from $225 for an event, near the trailer for guests who cannot use stairs.
Will the trailer be cleaned during a 2-day event?
Trailers arrive cleaned and stocked and are not serviced during the rental unless you add a visit. A mid-event service visit starts at $65 for a pump-out, clean and restock.
