How does a seasonal porta potty rental work?
A seasonal porta potty rental runs on the same 28-day cycle as any long-term rental. Billing starts on delivery day and renews every 28 days until you call for pickup. Weekly service is included the whole season. A four-month spring ball season runs about 5 cycles.
The details of the 28-day cycle, with dated examples, are on our monthly rental page. Call the day your season ends so billing stops then.
What does OSHA require for farm field crews?
OSHA 1928.110 requires 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility for every 20 field workers, placed within a quarter-mile walk of where they work. The rule covers hand-labor crews in tobacco, produce and other harvest work. A trailer-mounted unit lets the toilet follow the crew from field to field.
Read the scope and full text on the OSHA 1928.110 field sanitation page. Water for hand washing has to be there too, so pair each toilet with a two-sink hand wash station.
Harvest crews in the Pee Dee work through July and August heat. Shade and a second weekly visit help when 15 or more workers share a unit.

Can you set up porta potties at a hunting camp or lease?
Hunting camps and leases can keep a standard unit for the whole fall and winter season. The service truck needs a dirt road it can drive in dry weather and a spot within about 50 feet of it. Send a map pin or the nearest road and mile marker if the land has no address.
Camps with a lock on the main gate should give us the code or a key for weekly service. Units on remote land can get a lock hasp, too, so only club members use them.

How many units do ball fields and summer camps need?
A ball field complex with 200 people on a 6-hour Saturday needs 6 standard units, 1 of them wheelchair-accessible. Summer camps and pools follow the same count by peak daily attendance. Add a hand wash station at the concession stand, and a second weekly visit during tournaments and July heat.
Parents and grandparents on the bleachers often need step-free entry, so include an accessible unit at each field cluster. Run any head count through the sizing calculator.
Shade matters more than most people think. Our summer heat tips explain where to place units at open fields.

Should a weekly farmers market rent by the day or the month?
A farmers market held every week from June to September should keep its unit on a monthly plan. Renting a fresh unit for each Wednesday means 16 separate rentals. One unit on the 28-day plan stays put, gets cleaned weekly and costs far less over the season.
Ask for a lock hasp so the unit stays closed between market days. Market managers can then open it in the morning and lock it after the last vendor packs up.
Do you rent units for holiday sales lots?
Holiday sales lots rent units for 4 to 8 weeks at a time. Pumpkin patches run through October, Christmas tree lots from late November into December, and fireworks stands around July 4 and New Year's. A paved lot with 2 to 4 workers needs 1 standard unit.
Lots that sell food or hot cider should add hand washing. A short stand of 7 days or less can use our flat short-term rental price instead.

Seasonal rental questions
Is there a porta potty on a trailer we can move around the farm?
A trailer-mounted unit is a standard toilet on a small towable trailer, made for farm crews that change fields. It starts at $260 per 28-day cycle plus $60 delivery, or $295 for 7 days or less.
How far from the field crew can the toilet be under OSHA?
OSHA 1928.110 says the toilet and handwashing facility must be within a quarter-mile walk of the workers. On big tracts, that often means a towable unit that moves with the crew.
What does a spring ball season from March to June cost?
A standard unit is $165 per 28-day cycle plus a one-time $60 delivery. March 1 to June 30 runs into a fifth cycle, so plan on 5 cycles. Weekly service is included. Tax is extra.
Our farmers market runs every Wednesday all summer. Do we rebook each week?
Keep the unit on site on a 28-day plan instead. A standard unit starts at $165 per cycle plus $60 delivery, with one service visit each week set by our route. The plan renews on its own until you call for pickup when the season ends.
What if the hunting club gate is locked on delivery day?
Give us the gate code or a key before delivery. If the driver cannot reach the spot because of a locked gate or blocked road, a $75 return-trip fee applies.
Can a pumpkin patch rent for just 5 weeks?
A 5-week patch uses 2 cycles of the 28-day plan, starting at $165 each plus $60 delivery for a standard unit, with weekly service. Call for pickup when the season ends and billing stops.
